Four very nice people were chatting to me after a gig at THE BARGE, HONEYSTREET, and asked if I knew much about CAJUN MUSIC. It occurred to me that—just as the STORY OF THE BLUES SECTION on this website has proven interesting to lots of people, then a bit about Cajun might do the same. Have a look—see what you think. |

Just had confirmation that I’ll be playing at the Village Pump Festival in July. I work on the site every year, and appear in my musician role in some capacity most years. This year, I’ll be playing a blues set as a part of Sandy and Graham Ball’s concert on Stage 3 on the Sunday lunchtime. I’ll post more details as soon as I know them. |

There’s an interesting gig coming up on 11th July. A friend of mine is organising a Gala Charity Ball at The Civic Hall Trowbridge, in aid of the Forever Friends charity raising funds to create a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Royal United Hospital, Bath. I’m playing in the foyer throughout the evening. For more information and tickets, contact Julie Anderson-Hill at kjhandersonhill@btinternet.com. For more about the appeal, see the website www.foreverfriendsappeal.co.uk/nicu for information and contact details. |

I’m still having great fun playing my new (!) 1928 National guitar. See the GUITARS section for details. |
